The 3 Phases of the Maker's Diet Program
Phase 1
Days 1-14
During this phase the focus is:
- Maintain insulin levels,

- bolster your immune system as you begin your journey.

As Phase 1 of The Maker's Diet is focused on cleansing your body and correcting imbalances, it is essential to begin by eliminating foods or chemicals your body is addicted to. For many, these include sugars, artificial sweeteners, caffeine and preservatives.

As you progress from the most restrictive portion (Phase 1) of The Maker's Diet, into Phase 2, your food options expand considerably. You'll continue to enjoy all items allowed in Phase 1, while beginning to reintroduce some previously eliminated foods, such as increased fruits, dairy and sweet potatoes.
Phase 2 of The Maker's Diet continues to encourage prayer by beginning and ending each day with prayers of thanksgiving, healing and petition. Phase 2 also encourages continuing with a purpose reminder by setting aside time each day to reaffirm and focus on achieving each of your health goals.
Phase 3
Days 29-40 and beyond
The focus is:
- Realize and sustain your complete body health and weight goals with the maintenance phase of The Maker's Diet.
Even though The Maker's Diet is positioned as a 40-day journey to optimal health, you are encouraged to maintain the healthy habits you have adopted. Doing so will help ensure that you sustain your achieved goals and continue to live in your ideal state of health.
As the maintenance portion of the program, Phase 3 of The Maker's Diet allows and encourages healthful, balanced eating from each of the food groups. In Phase 3, you'll reacquaint yourself with healthy grains and foods higher in sugars and starches.
Continue to take Prayer time at the beginning and end each day - prayers of thanksgiving, healing and petition. Also maintain your Purpose Reminder - Try setting aside time each day to reaffirm and focus on achieving each of your health goals.
